We Are Recruiting!

13/05/2016

Are you a good listener?

Can you build trust and rapport quickly with people?

Are you passionate about justice and fairness?

Do you have a methodical approach to your work?

If you can answer ‘yes’ to these questions you could be our next Healthwatch Officer (NHS Complaints) in Oldham.

This is a new role which will help people who are unhappy with their NHS services to navigate the NHS complaints system. The role is about helping people to speak for themselves and working with formal advocacy organisations if someone is unable to self-advocate.

The successful applicant will have a good balance of empathy and resilience. You need to be able to support people at a time when they may feel vulnerable whilst also being able to listen to their sometimes emotionally powerful stories.

Application documents can be downloaded below or can be posted out by phoning 0161 622 5700.

Closing date: 5pm Thursday 26 May 2016

Interviews: Tuesday 7 June 2016 (morning)
