Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services Survey

Healthwatch Oldham is part of a Greater Manchester network and they are interested in hearing from young people and their parents/carers about their experiences of accessing (or trying to access) Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in the Oldham Borough.

We would like to hear from young people aged 13-18 or 19-25 if SEND, as well as parents/carers who have accessed this service for all conditions. This could include the Autism/ADHD diagnostic pathways. Young people’s voices matter and their experiences can help to drive change across Greater Manchester. We also have a survey for professionals to better understand their experiences of this pathway. All information collected in these surveys will be anonymised.

For children and young people who started looking for support within the last 2 years, you can access the survey below:

For parents parent/carers:

For professionals:

As part of 10GM, we want to help identify within the Oldham Borough if current CAMHS pathways are effective and if children, young people and their caregivers can access support in a timely way and with positive outcomes. Additionally, we are also looking at other local help they have received or been offered for example #Thrive, as part of this pathway.

If anyone wants a hard copy of the survey or for assistance in completing it over the telephone please call us on 0161 622 5700 or email info@healthwatcholdham.co.uk.
