I am providing leadership whilst the team undergoes restructuring and a new manager is being recruited. I am freelance and work with a range of local Healthwatch, having run a local Healthwatch for over 6 years. I have worked as a nurse in the NHS, in a social work role with adult social care and led a range of voluntary organisations such as Citizens Advice and Local Mind. I am experienced in working at a senior strategic level with health and social care. I am an expert in ensuring Healthwatch engage diverse communities, have impact and improve services.

Gaynor Keane - Healthwatch Officer
Prior to joining the Healthwatch team I worked for Pennine Care, Health Improvement Service in community development. One of the key areas of my work for Healthwatch Oldham is the Information (signposting) service which Healthwatch Oldham provides for all people across the Oldham borough and we ensure that all information provided is relevant and promptly delivered.

Julie Cunliffe - Healthwatch Officer
Prior to joining the Healthwatch Oldham team Julie worked for Action Together on a Time Banking Project for 7 years. One of the key areas of Julie's role is to collect and collate feedback on NHS & Social Care experiences, also carrying out bespoke research. She also supports Asma with the NHS Complaints, manage our fantastic volunteers and signpost people to services.

Asma Khatun - Healthwatch Officer (NHS Complaints)
Asma has previously worked supporting people within multi-agency settings including NHS services. Asma is now leading on our NHS Complaints Service and will support people through the complaints process. Asma's aim is to help people to make their complaint themselves. If you want to make an NHS complaint it is important for you to be able to say what is important to you in your own words.

Martyn Nolan - Research / Project Support Officer
Coming from an Education and Training background, Martyn has had a wide range of roles including an NVQ Assessor, Learndirect Tutor and Programme Trainer. Martyn provides research and anaylsis on the findings and feedback on health and social care services within the borough of Oldham. Martyn also supports the general project work of Healthwatch Oldham.
