Healthwatch in Greater Manchester explore the realities of child and adolescent mental health services in the city region.

The Enter and View at Royal Oldham Hospital Postnatal Ward was a revisit from our previous Enter and View in August 2023. The revisit was a planned joint revisit with the provider being notified in advance and given a two-week timeframe for the revisit.

We have published our 2023/24 Annual Report showing how we have helped to shape and make a difference to local health and social care services.

Healthwatch Oldham undertook a survey with people who are seeking asylum or have refugee status and reside in temporary accommodation in Oldham.

This report summarises local people’s experiences of the NHS 111 services following on from our engagement with local people late last year. A total of 257 people engaged with us in this project and shared their experiences and understanding of the NHS 111 Service.

Leesbrook Medical practice invited Healthwatch Oldham to carry out an engagement exercise with their patients to under their views on the quality of the matron service being provided by the practice.

The CQC commissioned Healthwatch Oldham and Healthwatch Rochdale to gather experiences from partners and or family members who had supported a pregnant or birthing person through the maternity journey between September 2021 to February 2023. We have summarised the responses in this report.
